High Table Dinner 2014
Studying is not the only means of becoming an academic person. High Table Dinner, an HKU tradition originated from English universities' High Table, is an event in which intellectual exchange among students can be fostered in an academic dining environment. This year, we are delighted to announce that we are organising a High Table Dinner for you who enjoy Linguistics! Linguistics Festival 2014
The annual Linguistics Festival was successfully organised in March! The theme of the Festival this year is ¡¥You are What You Speak¡¦, in relation to the area of language and identity. Do you want to know the ways to differentiate real and fake ABC¡¦s? What does code-mixing tell us about Hong Kong people¡¦s identities? How do professionals identify criminals through linguistics means? Linguistics Festival will provide more interesting information about language and identity!
